TCI Construction is the concrete and architectural casting division of TCI Group, established in 2019. Tool design, pattern making, mould making and inspection all happen at Waterloo Park in Bidford-on-Avon, and we ship worldwide from there.
Our story
TCI Construction is a trading division of Techcraft Industries Mouldings Ltd, the company behind TCI Group. The group was established in 2019 as a mould making business. Construction work grew out of it as customers turned up with concrete, GRC or restoration problems a decorative mould shop could not answer.
Starting as toolmakers rather than as a sales operation changes how the conversation goes. It is why the first question is what you are casting and how you strike it rather than which liner you would like. It is why we ask about your release agent before your texture, and why we quote in cost per cast rather than price per square metre. Most of the expensive problems in architectural casting are decided long before anything is manufactured.
Today four divisions run out of the same building. TCI Mouldings covers decorative and industrial mould making. TCI Culinary handles food-contact production. TCI Construction covers concrete, GRC, cast stone and architectural restoration moulds. TCI Products takes proven tooling into higher volume. One shared engineering team sits behind all of it, which is why a precast release problem sometimes gets solved with something learned on a chocolate line.

Everything you see across these five websites is Techcraft Industries Mouldings Ltd, company number 15795140, registered at Unit 15, Waterloo Park, Bidford-on-Avon. TCI Group, TCI Mouldings, TCI Culinary, TCI Construction and TCI Products are trading names of that one company. There is no group of separate legal entities behind them and we would rather you heard that from us than found it on Companies House. The reason for the split is that a bakery technologist and a precast yard manager want completely different conversations, and one website cannot hold both.

Design, tool design, pattern making, tool making, inspection and finishing are ours, in Bidford-on-Avon. The moulding capability is here as well: hand-laid silicone, open casting, vacuum casting, compression moulding and injection moulding.
On some jobs we place part of the production with partner factories, in the UK and in a small number of cases abroad. That happens when a volume is beyond our own press capacity, when a programme needs a second source so a line never stops, or when a material or process sits outside what we run. We are not going to pretend otherwise, because you will work it out the first time you visit. What we will do is tell you which route your job is taking at quote stage, keep the tool design and the quality standard with us either way, and inspect against the same drawing whoever pressed the part. If it matters to you that a job is made entirely in our building, say so at enquiry stage and we will either commit to it or tell you we cannot.
Who you will deal with
Eleven to fifty people depending on how you count the shop floor. You will not be passed round an account management layer, because there is not one.

Company details are as filed at Companies House. The group was established in 2019; the current registered company was incorporated later and renamed in 2025. Every contract, warranty and invoice is issued in the name of the registered company.
How we operate
Tool design, pattern making, mould making, backing frames and inspection all happen in Bidford-on-Avon. On some larger programmes part of the production is placed with partner factories, and we say which at quote stage rather than after the order.
You speak to the person who specified your mould. When you ring about the replacement liner, they already know what the first one was made of, how hard it was and how it was backed.
If a job wants a polyurethane tool rather than silicone, or a rigid mould rather than a liner, or should not come to us at all, we say so. A mould sold into the wrong process comes back as a complaint.
We retain patterns and masters, so repeat supply is genuinely a repeat rather than a re-engineering exercise with new tolerances and a fresh argument about matching.

These are companies TCI Group has worked with since 2019. We are a small workshop that a number of large manufacturers keep coming back to, which is the only credential we would ask you to weigh.
Main contractors, civil engineering firms and facade manufacturers. Concrete work is unforgiving about tooling, and these are the people who tell you so.
Between them these are own-label suppliers to every major UK supermarket, so a good deal of our food tooling ends up making something you can buy on a Tuesday.
Candle and home fragrance is a large part of what we mould. That runs from single-room chandlers ordering one mould through to manufacturers running scheduled volume.

What we do not claim
A construction supplier who overstates its position costs you more than one who understates it, because you find out on site.

A written warranty against manufacturing defect on every mould, with material, hardness and backing detail recorded against the order.
Non-disclosure by default. Your drawings, artwork, survey data are not shown to anyone and your patterns are not run for another customer.
