When the original is lost, we build a new pattern from photographs, drawings, a surviving sister piece or a scan — then mould from it.
Overview

Sometimes nothing survives. The relief is known from old photographs, a measured drawing, or a matching piece on another building.
In those cases the pattern is the reproduction. We scan what's available, model or sculpt the pattern, and get it approved before any mould is made.
What sets it apart
Reliefs reconstructed with a sculptor from historic images.
Scanned from a matching feature elsewhere, scaled if needed.
Modelled and machined, then hand-finished.
Conservation sign-off at pattern stage, before tooling.
How we build it
We combine scanning, CNC machining and hand finishing. Machining gives accurate geometry; hand work puts back the life a machine can't.
The pattern is presented for approval physically, not just on screen.

The honest bit
A reconstructed relief is an interpretation. We make that clear in the methodology so everyone knows what's being approved.

One photograph tells us what surface you're chasing, and one line about the mix tells us what silicone or polyurethane will survive it.
Real people, a real workshop
No call centre and no middlemen. When you contact TCI Construction, you speak to the team who design, build and check your mould.
