Landscape & street furniture · Bench and seat moulds

Bench end and seat unit moulds.

Tooling for concrete bench ends, monolithic seats and seating wall units, with timber-fixing inserts, skate deterrent and drainage designed in.

Overview

Bench and seat moulds, in plain terms.

Pattern stage details for a concrete bench unit

Concrete seating mixes furniture design with street durability. The mould decides edge radii, fixing positions and how water drains off the seat.

We work with the designer on those details at pattern stage, where they're cheap to change.

What sets it apart

Four things that define this route.

01

Bench ends

For timber-slatted benches, with fixing inserts.

02

Monolithic seats

Large-format one-piece seat units.

03

Seating walls

Integrated seats in retaining or planter walls.

04

Skate deterrent

Designed into the edge, not bolted on.

How we build it

From pattern to released tool.

Bench ends usually cast in a split polyurethane mould with insert keepers. Large seats use a rigid-backed liner in a timber or steel case.

Seats get a slight fall so water doesn't pond.

The honest bit

What to know before you commit.

Very large monolithic seats are heavy. We'll ask about lifting early so inserts are designed in.

Send us a photograph of the panel or the elevation.

One photograph tells us what surface you're chasing, and one line about the mix tells us what silicone or polyurethane will survive it.
