GRC tooling · GRC panel tooling
Silicone and polyurethane face moulds for sprayed and premix GRC cladding panels, with returns and stud positions designed in.
Overview

GRC panels are thin, light and usually sprayed. The mould has to give a clean face, crisp returns and a demould that doesn't crack a corner on a thin shell.
We build face moulds on a rigid backing with returns cast in, so the sprayer has a stable tool and the panel lifts cleanly.
What sets it apart
Surfaces that don't pick up spray pattern.
Edge returns formed in one piece with the face.
Markers or inserts for frame connection points.
Release designed for thin shells.
How we build it
The face is poured against a pattern on a rigid table. Returns are integral so there's no joint at the arris.
We discuss your spray and consolidation method so the mould edges suit the roller and the mist coat.

The honest bit
Thin-shell panels crack at corners if the demould is forced. We radius internal corners where the design allows and say where it doesn't.

FAQs
Both. Tell us which, as it affects mould stiffness.
Yes, from your frame drawing.
Get in touch
One photograph tells us what surface you're chasing, and one line about the mix tells us what silicone or polyurethane will survive it.
Real people, a real workshop
No call centre and no middlemen. When you contact TCI Construction, you speak to the team who design, build and check your mould.
